Daily time spent watching TV in China 2018-2023

In a time when social media and video streaming grabbing more eyeballs, television consumption continues to decline. In 2023, China's average daily TV viewing time dropped to about one hour and 41 minutes. Time spent watching television bounced back in 2020 at two hours and 12 minutes, when people inclined to stay at home due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
